Enhanced Plan is our premium plan with premium benefits. Great for those who prefer low or no copays on multiple lens enhancements such as progressives, anti-glare, and impact and scratch resistant. With a higher monthly premium compared to our other plans, members can expect to pay less out-of-pocket at the eye doctor. With little to no copays, you'll see the savings add up.

If you want to focus on the health of your eyes and more, this plan makes it easier with $0 out-of-pocket for eye exams and lower copay on retinal imaging. Additionally, low copays on progressive lenses and anti-glare coatings with a $200 frame allowance on any of VSP's featured frame brands.

*Digital retinal imaging uses high-resolution imaging systems to take pictures of the inside of your eye. This helps VSP network doctors assess the health of your retina and helps them to detect and manage eye and health conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma, hypertension, and macular degeneration. Finding retinal disorders as early as possible is critical to potentially preventing serious disease progression and even vision loss.

I enrolled in the VSP plan because I do not have vision coverage through my employer. With my plan, I am able to purchase quality eye wear at an affordable price. The last 2 years I was even given a rebate after purchasing select eyeglasses. Eye exams are covered and I am able to choose a dr of my liking through VSP's large list of providers.

I had VSP through my employer, so I knew the value of the coverage. When I retired, I found the individual plan very reasonable. I wear daily contact lenses and I like that I get at least one box covered a year.
